Music
When I was 4, my mom stuck me in a piano class. After 11 years of classical training, I realized I had lost my motivation for piano - if I had any intrinsic drive for the instrument in the first place. Regardless, those years planted some seeds in my mind. These seeds were watered during quarantine when I picked up an old ukulele and began learning chords, quickly turning into fingerpicking on a guitar, songwriting, and music creation…
I mainly write songs about nostalgia but also value incorporating abstract themes into my music. There’s something occult about documenting an unconscious flow of sound that can mean different things depending on how the listener interprets it—it’s one of my favorite aspects of creating music.
