The process of recommending music is one of many ways we have found to communicate emotions that escape the grasp of language. Welcome to Toune - an analog take on modern music recommendation.

Through a website that connects via bluetooth to the physical device, the gifter is able to input a list of songs as well as respective information and an annotation into the device. Then, the recipient is able to iterate through the songs on the device, listen to them on their own time, and rate the songs on the device on a scale of 1 to 5 stars for the gifter to see the next time the device is returned for them to recommend more songs.
